Effects of sin on the world

Read some encouraging words from Pastor Steve Hill at an Assembly of G-d church I went to a few years ago (wish I hadn’t left sometime-but I like Baruch Hashenm and my wife and I don’t plan on leaving for several years). By the way, keep this Man of G-d in your prayers as he continues to battle with melanoma. His devotional today said that as followers of G-d, we are joint heirs with His Son Yeshua/Jesus Messiah. With the One true & living G-d as our life partner/coach (that probably didn’t sound right-sorry L-rd), we can have victory in everything we do; As long as we seek Him first. You can’t fail if you partner with Him and honestly put Him first, unless you veer off and do your own thing. That being said, maybe it’s because I’ve been told I have the gift of encouragement but I can’t help but notice many people who claim to love the L-rd and trust Him are actually quite negative. They claim that if it’s His will it’ll come to pass, they’re not as on fire because they believe if they’re G-d’s elect they’ll be saved anyway. I can understand why people who view life this way take medications just to get by in life. I needed ‘em when I was under this teaching and they still didn’t work. The pentecostals and Messianic haven’t actually strengthened my faith the most and I’m reasonably certain most of them don’t take very many medications. Not that I’m totally against them-they help some people. But like college, credit cards and buy-now-pay-later, etc., it’s all overrated and a marketing scam. Jesus said with His Father all things are possible with Him. The doom & gloomers are right that it pertains to salvation, but it’s quite negative to think salvation stops with “getting saved.” You get saved everyday you trust Him to deliver you from temptation to live for His glory. If you’re a growing believer/true worshipper, you are more saved/sanctified than you were yesterday in progressing towards glorification when G-d makes you righteous. So quit trying to establish your own and trust Him to do for you what you can’t do for yourself. LOOK UP AND NOT INSIDE YOURSELF! Read the Apostle Paul’s excerpt in Romans Ch. 7 about his struggles. Don’t settle for the status quo and tell yourself you’re succeeding just because “I’m doing the best I can to get by”. Even respected pastor Charles Stanley said a walk with your heavenly
Father is life’s greatest adventure. You don’t see that from watching many who profess to know the L-rd. Even Ghandi said the leading cause of atheism is Christians. Even Messiancs teach us that the reason the elect (Jewish people) reject Yeshua is because of the persecution they have received in His name. There’s a couple of books I’m recommending about that very issue. If you read it you might be surprised at how Anti-semitic christians really are by exalting themselves as G-d’s elect. More on that in another blogpost.
