Everybody has faith. But is your faith getting you anywhere? Jesus said,”When the Son of Man returns, will He find faith?” Sounds like a soap opera. Life is like a soap opera, you never know what you’re gonna get. So give it to the One who does. All around you see people who are sick, broke, lonely, depressed, etc. All our problems are because we don’t trust in God so we do-it-ourselves. Then we self-medicate on the things of the world to fill the void; Drugs (even pharmaceuticals), alcohol, sex, work, relationships, etc). Psalms 14 & 53 say that no one seeks God and the Prophets warn us that God will draw near to those that draw near to Him. Depraved isn’t in the Bible but it basically means absolutely helpless. We can’t even make a decision to trust our Heavenly Father unless He draws us and empowers us. Jesus said when He be lifted up, He will draw all men unto Himself. You respond to His grace and mercy at a time in your life when your heart is the most receptive, whether it’s when you’re a toddler or on your deathbed. All God requires is that we seek Him, He does everything else by empowering us to do so. Just trust Him, receive Him, and live accordingly. True Worship is simply acknowledging His Presence which changes your life so it can’t just be an intellectual thing without heartfelt devotion. Go on, you can do it, your Father is calling.
