Heard this week the difference between dreams & visions. The former is our goals for our life while the latter is God’s goals. God’s goals is always to know Him and make Him known. Does this mean our Dr dreams are sinful? Only if it goes against the Word of God. Do you really think we are so far from God that our dreams weren’t put there by Him in the first place? The book of Joel talks about old men having visions and young men dreaming dreams. The things you pursue in your fleshly sinful human nature God actually wants to give you. He just wants you to trust Him for it and make you Christlike in all you do. The Word says what’s not of faith is sin. He also says in His Word that you have the right to sacrifice those things for the Kingdom of God. In the pursuit of your goals and dreams it’s possible to lose sight of your vision which is God’s purpose for your life. You leave Him out and it has no meaning and you could lose your very soul.
